Bio

Eli specializes in program analysis and instrumentation. Most recently, he served as the lead architect for Lucien, a context-aware multi-language privilege model and instrumentation. Lucien is in the early stages of commercialization and a paper is in the works for Q2 2025. Other than Lucien, at Aarno Labs Eli has worked on multiple DARPA programs expanding and hardening Aarno’s suite of program analysis tools.

Before Aarno Labs, Eli worked for Microsoft, where he was awarded a patent for distributed build system orchestration. Eli holds a B.S. and M.Eng from MIT. His master's thesis took a complete C memory safety tool SoftBoundSETS, and optimized it, reducing overhead by 50%.

When not programming, Eli can be found designing tabletop RPG systems, origami, and crochet patterns (available here: https://www.ravelry.com/patterns/library/eye-see-you).
